Dr. Duffy is an Associate Professor of MIS in the Raj
Soin College of Business at Wright State University.He has been on the faculty at Wright State since September 2004. Since
joining the faculty, he has taught courses at the undergraduate level in
Information Systems Analysis and Design, Database Management
Systems for Business, and Information Systems Project Management, and
at the MBA level in Information Technology and Business Transformation.
Dr. Duffy also teaches courses (e-commerce and technology enabled
business, and business process management) at the graduate level in the
MIS degree program.
Dr. Duffy completed his doctoral studies in Management Information
Systems at the Florida State University. He completed a BA degree from
Eckerd College in Literature in 1978, and an MA degree in Literature from
the University of Pittsburgh in 1982. He completed an MSIS at the
University of Pittsburgh in 1992. Prior to joining Wright State University, he
held faculty positions at The University of Texas, Arlington, and West
Virginia University.
His publications have appeared in journals such as the Journal of
Information Systems Education, the International Journal of e-
Collaboration, Decision Support Systems, the Journal of Asia-Pacific
Business, the Air Force Journal of Logistics, the International Journal of
Public Administration, and the Encyclopedia of Information Systems. Dr.
Duffy is the Executive Director of the EDAptive Computing Center for
Research in Business Process Management.
