Professional Experience

1994-Present
Served as the Chief Information Security Officer and Technical Services Director for the 312 Aeronautical Systems Wing at Wright Patterson AFB. Developed and implemented the Information Security Program for the acquisition arm of ten major weapons systems. Responsibilities span 11 sites across the Continental United States.

Responsible for development of the IT Strategic Plan ensuring implementation of innovative technological solutions that totally support the organization’s goals and objectives within the framework of the existing security architecture.

1971-1993 United States Air Force
Extensive information systems and communications experience ranging from day-to-day operation to long range planning and budgeting. Positions held progressed from hands-on to executive management within both the Air Force and Joint Department of Defense Organizations. Served as the senior staff communicator and Information Security Officer in the North Atlantic, interfacing directly with the U.S. Embassy and the Government of Iceland. Developed security programs for ten major Air Force weapons system program offices and two commercial corporations. This included developing the policies and procedures, establishing an education program, completing risk analyses and accomplishing certification and accreditation packages for their networks. Provided technical review and assessments for certification and accreditation packages from other organizations across the continental United States.
