Welcome to the Pre-Health Advising Programs at Wright State University! Annually, our University enrolls hundreds of students interested in pursuing a career in the health professions. WSU's pre-health program provides support to these students and is overseen by the Pre-Health Advisor, who has an up-to-date understanding of the requirements and trends of programs in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, physical therapy, optometry, physician assistant, and pharmacy. Students are given the opportunity to participate in workshops and seminars, as well as regular meetings with the Pre-Health Advisor to evaluate progress in academics, extracurricular activities, and health care experience. In addition, senior pre-health peer mentors are selected annually by the Pre-Health Advisor to share their stories and help provide direction to underclassmen in building a competitive application. Student organizations are also available for students to gain additional information regarding their health care field, and to develop friendships that will last a lifetime.

- Stay up-to-date with current events by reviewing the calendar on a regular basis. Seminars, workshops and student organizational meetings will be posted.
- Attention High School Students: are you interested in WSU and plan on pursuing a career in the health professions? If so, make sure to register for our Presidents' Day Pre-Health Information Day (see Presidents' Day link for additional information).
- Current WSU students: are you on the pre-health listserv? If not, either click on the "pre-health listserv" link on this website, or email listserv@wright.edu and in the body of the text, type "subscribe cosm-pre-med". The Pre-Health Advisor uses this listserv to keep students informed of activities, deadlines, changes, etc.
