Awards and Recognition

Dr. Dragana Claflin was awarded a CoSM 2001-2002 Outstanding Teaching Award.

Frank Lee, a freshman psychology major, was selected to the APA Summer Science Institute held at Columbia University in New York in 2002.

Dr. Tamera Schneider was awarded a CoSM 2001-2002 Outstanding Teaching Award.

Outreach

3 faculty, 2 staff, approximately 5 graduate students, and 15 undergraduate students participated in the High School Outreach Project. This project presents the broad spectrum of Psychology to high school students. They visited three high schools in the winter and spring, and hosted six schools for the 2nd Annual Exploring Behavior Days.

Student Clubs and Activities

Psychology Club and Psi Chi are involved in membership recruitment, calendar planning, special funding, elections, fundraising, career workshops, graduate school preparation sessions, attendance at the Midwestern Psychological Association Meeting in Chicago in May, Awards Ceremony and Psi Chi Induction at the end of spring quarter.
