Graduate Student Profiles
The Department of Psychology takes pride in preparing our graduates for the strong demand in government and industry for psychologists with graduate degree level education in human factors and industrial/organizational psychology. Consistent with this training and our program goals, our graduates obtain employment in private and public corporations and industries, government agencies, and educational institutions. We highlight here a few of our recent graduates and their career successes giving strong examples of what students in our program can expect.

Job Responsibilities: Accountable for building and applying organization development capabilities in partnership with HR & business leaders to create an engaging culture for associates, deliver an exceptional experience for customers, and ultimately drive the achievement of business results. Our team provides tools, coaching, and consulting support in the areas of change management, organization design, culture, team effectiveness, associate engagement, and rewards & recognition.
Career Goals: In the future I would be interested in further developing my skills & experience in business consulting.

Job Responsibilites: Oversee all enterprise-wide assessment programs for Macy’s stores, credit and merchant divisions, college recruiting, distribution centers, corporate offices, and select roles within Bloomingdale’s; Select and create assessments, design hiring processes and tools, train end users, get buy-in from stakeholders, and ensure both ROI and legal compliance.
