DUAL MAJORS
DUAL MAJORS
The department participates in the dual major program, leading to either the B.S. or the B.A. degree. These programs are most suitable for students interested in a dual major in mathematics and either computer science, engineering, or physics, and may be arranged for students with other interdisciplinary interests. Basic requirements follow and must be integrated with a corresponding program from another participating department. All programs require a minimum of 183 credit hours.
- Dual Major in Mathematics: B.S. option or B.A. option
- Dual Major in Mathematics Education
- Dual Major in Statistics
(Note that a dual major is different than a double major; a dual major earns only one bachelor degree, while a double major completes two full degree programs and earns two bachelor degrees.)
If you have specific questions about taking a dual math or statistics major contact Dr. Daniel Slilaty.
