Research Interests: Differential Equations

Biography: Dr. Turyn came to Wright State in 1982 after completing a postdoctoral position at the University of Calgary.  Prior to that he completed his Ph.D. in mathematics at Brown University, specializing in differential equations.  In 1990-1991 he had a visiting position at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  He teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, particularly courses for engineering students.  He is completing work on Advanced Engineering Mathematics, to be published in 2013 by CRC Press.
