Research Interests: Multivariate statistics, functional data analysis

Biography: Dr. Tarpey came to Wright State in 1994 after completing an NRC postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colorado. Prior to that he completed his Ph.D. in mathematics at Indiana University, specializing in multivariate statistics. He has served as academic advisor for the B.S. degree program in statistics and is currently the Director of the Statistics Program.
