Research Interests: Lesson Study for Preservice Teachers and Students' Algebraic Thinking

Biography: Dr. Reed has been teaching at Wright State since 2002 after completing her Ph.D. in mathematics education at The Ohio State University. Her dissertation focused on children's mathematical thinking as observed in Montessori students. She teaches mathematics and statistics content and methods courses for both the department of Mathematics and Statistics and the College of Education and Human Services.
