Corporate Supporters & Partners

The College of Science and Mathematics enjoys many partnerships within and external to the WSU Campus. We have relationships with local, state, national and international entities, both private and public.

Locally, we are proud to highlight our friends at YSI and P&G. Both have been long-time supporters of the college in numerous ways.

YSI created an Endowed Scholarship in Environmental Sciences. This generous gift by the employees of YSI, Incorporated provides a three-year $150,000 pledge to support scholarships in the college's Environmental Sciences Program. The YSI Endowed Scholarship in Environmental Sciences will exist in perpetuity. Susan Miller, YSI Foundation trustee, commented, "Because of our strong interest in the environment, we are very pleased to support the quality educational efforts of Wright State's new Environmental Sciences Ph.D. Program. This is a great fit."

Proctor and Gamble, based in Cincinnati, Ohio provided crucial support to WSU in establishing the Combinatorial Chemistry laboratory at Wright State University. They have further support WSU researchers in performing cutting edge research. P&G also recently established the Procter & Gamble Lectureship at WSU which brings world-class speakers to campus from the field of chemistry.

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is literally a 'next-door neighbor' and a very significant partner in numerous ways. The Air Force donated the land on which WSU sits to the State of Ohio in the early 60's so that the University could be established. Many of our faculty provide support to various research programs on WPAFB and conversely, WPAFB supports the research efforts of our faculty here on campus.
