The Best of the Best for 2012
Wright State University congratulates
Ms. Huong-Thao Thy Tran,
majoring in Biological Science.
Ms. Huong-Thao Thy Tran represents this year's “Best of the Best” among students in the College of Science and Mathematics (CoSM).
On May 18, 2012, Ms. Tran received The Top Scholar award for the College of Science and Mathmatics. Every year, the Top Scholars program recognizes a senior from each college with a GPA of 3.6 or above. The College of Science and Mathematics Dean’s office selected Ms. Tran among all outstanding College of Science and Mathematics students. Most candidates had nearly perfect grades and hands-on experience in faculty research labs.
The Top Scholars program is sponsored by the Wright State University Parents Association and Wright State University Friends of the Libraries and has been in existence since 1995. The Wright State University Parents Association purchases a book in each Scholar’s name in their subject area for addition to the University Libraries’ collections. Each Top Scholar is named on a bookplate and in the online catalog record for their book. The Top Scholars books may be viewed here.
