Wright State University would like to congratulate
Mr. Kurt O. Throckmorton,
a senior majoring in Biological Sciences.

Mr. Throckmorton represents the “Best of the Best” among students in the College of Science and Mathematics (CoSM).

At a reception on May 21, 2010, Kurt received The Top Scholar award for the CoSM. The Top Scholars program recognizes a senior from each college with a GPA of 3.6 or above. The College of Science and Mathematics Dean’s office selected Kurt from a list of outstanding College of Science and Mathematics students all with nearly perfect grades and hands-on experience in faculty research labs.

The Top Scholars program, sponsored by the Wright State University Parents Association and Wright State University Friends of the Libraries, has been in existence since 1995. The Wright State University Parents Association purchases a book in each Scholar’s name in their subject area for addition to the University Libraries’ collections. Each Top Scholar is named on a bookplate and in the online catalog record for their book. The Top Scholars books may be viewed here.
