Counseling and Wellness Services Update

Counseling and Wellness Services is comprised of three primary programs: Mental health services, Student Advocacy and Wellness, and Student Health Insurance Services. In support of increasing social distancing Counseling and Wellness Services will make the following changes:

The Student Health Insurance office will operate remotely. If you have questions regarding the Wright State University Student Health Insurance program, please contact either Nancy Caupp at nancy.caupp@wright.edu or 937-775-2553, or Rob Fox at robert.fox@wright.edu or 937-775-2331.

Student Advocacy and Wellness will also work remotely. To reach Student Advocacy and Wellness please call 937-260-0167. To reach the Power Based Violence Survivor Advocate and Case Manager please call 937-775-2727.

The Raider Food Pantry will be open on Thursday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday, March 20, from 2 to 6 p.m. The food pantry will be closed beginning Monday, March 23, to Tuesday, March 31. You may pick up to two weeks of food for the remainder of March. The food pantry is available to those who are experiencing food insecurity (not able to get enough to eat).

The Raider Food Pantry will reopen after March 31, hours to be announced. If you experience a food emergency, call 937-260-0167 and assistance will be provided.

Counseling and Wellness Services will be open for services 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will NOT provide in-person mental health services. All services will be provided via telephone or other electronic means.

If you are a current client or on the waitlist, you will be contacted by a therapist. If you are a new client, please call 937-775-3407 and we will discuss the process for beginning services at Counseling and Wellness Services.
