Do you have a bachelor's degree?
Do you want to make a difference?
Does working in the health care field appeal to you?
BEACON may be the answer for you!
The Wright State University-Miami Valley College of Nursing and
Health has developed a new pathway in the BSN program to help
address the shortage of nurses prepared at the baccalaureate level
and the need to increase diversity in the nursing profession. We are
offering an accelerated BSN program for individuals who already
have a prior baccalaureate degree in a field other than nursing who
want to enter the nursing workforce.
BEACON, an acronym for Baccalaureate Education Accelerates Career Opportunities in Nursing, is a post-baccalaureate entry into
practice program. We are partnering with Ohio's two Historically
Black Colleges and Universities and others to promote multicultural
diversity in nursing. All qualified university graduates are
encouraged to contact us for more information.
