Whats New at CoNH
- NEW FALL 2010 Optional Specialization in Flight and Disaster Nursing:
The CONH is currently accepting applications for their Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist program with a specialization in Flight and Disaster Nursing.
This program has been developed in collaboration with the Wright State's Boonshoft School of Medicine and the U.S. Air Force, the Flight & Disaster Nursing subspecialty and
builds on the core Adult CNS program to prepare students to manage critical care patients and services in unstructured environments. To learn more about this program click here.

We are very pleased to announce that the Ohio Board of Nursing granted Full Approval for the maximum five years to WSU-MV College of Nursing and Health on September 24, 2009. This approval continues our record of maintaining Full Approval status since the first approval was granted in 1973. Our next regularly scheduled Survey Visit from OBN will take place in spring of 2014. The purpose of these regular visits to
every prelicensure nursing education pro-gram is to verify that programs are meeting and maintaining the requirements outlined in Chapter 4723-5 Ohio Administrative Code.
During the OBN Survey Visit in May 2009, the Education Consultant from OBN met with students, faculty, and administrators of the program and university, toured the facilities and visited two different types of clinical groups during the students’ clinical experiences, and reviewed program records. This oversight by OBN helps to assure that programs are meeting standards and helps to protect the students and citizens of Ohio.
