Application Problems
If you have a problem with a supported application such as Word or PowerPoint, call the CaTS Help Desk at ext. 4827. 

What is a "Supported Application"?

CaTS supports the following applications:

  • Intel/Microsoft Windows Platform
    • Windows 95 & 98
    • MS Office 97 & 2000 
    • MS FrontPage for PCs 
    • FileMaker
    • Netscape 4.X 
    • MS Publisher
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader
    • SAS
    • SPSS

  • Apple/Macintosh Platform

    • MacOS 8.5 and higher (not OS X)

    • Office 98 & 2001 for Macs

    • FileMaker

    • Netscape 4.X

    • Simple Text

    Note:  There is no supported HTML editor for Macs at this time.

If you have a questions about an application not listed above, you can still call the Help Desk; you may talk to someone who can help you with your application, but you may not.  The applications above are the only ones you can be sure are supported by the Help Desk.
