What do I do when my mouse or keyboard won't work?

If either your mouse or keyboard are not responding (your mouse will move your cursor but the arrow keys won't move the cursor, or you can type on the keyboard but the mouse will not lower menus) it is probably a hardware problem.

First, check the connections in the back of the computer to make sure everything is tight and connected properly.

If the device still doesn't work, turn the computer off and then back on to see if this corrects the problem.

If the problem is still present, you will have to call the CaTS Help Desk at ext. 4827.
