Steven M. Abshire graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Affairs in 1995. He continued his graduate education at Wright State and earned his Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science in 1996. Steven then went on to attend law school at the University of Toledo. He earned his license to practice law in Ohio in 2001. Steven currently works in the Criminal Division of the Montgomery County (Ohio) Prosecutor’s Office. In 2003 he was named the Outstanding Assistant Prosecuting Attorney of the Year by CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), for his exceptional work with children and families here in Montgomery County. Moreover, Steven has also recently been recognized for his continued work and dedication to CARE House of Montgomery County. CARE House is a community advocacy center for child victims of abuse and neglect.
