Susan Blackwell

Susan Blackwell was born in Dayton, Ohio and received her BFA in Acting from Wright State University in 1991. Upon completion of her MFA in Acting at the University of Minnesota, she joined the acting company at The Guthrie Theatre.

In New York, Susan has appeared Off-Broadway at the Roundabout Theatre, Atlantic Theatre Company, Manhattan Theatre Source and Vineyard Theatre. Television appearances include The Sopranos, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Third Watch. Films include P.S.: I Love You, Margot at the Wedding and Changing Lanes. As a writer, she has contributed original material to many projects, including The New Wondertwins (with fellow WSU acting major, Rebecca Finnegan), PS122's Avant-Garde-Arama series, The Actors Fund 125th Anniversary Gala, Don't Quit Your Night Job, NYCLU's Broadway Stands Up for Freedom!, the [title of show] show (www.titleofshow.com).

Susan made her Broadway debut in June 2008 with [title of show] in the role of Susan. She currently resides in New York with her husband, Steve White, who is a long-time performer with the Blue Man Group.
