Rosezelle has worked as a social worker for over 30 years, mainly in the field of mental health. She has been a strong advocate for the disabled, especially the deaf, and she herself has a major hearing impairment. One of Rosezell's most significant contributions is her co-authored book about Nellie Zimmerman, who was deaf and blind, and had been wrongly institutionalized in a state mental hospital until 1976, at the age of 71 years old.
The book has had numerous printings and continues to receive positive reviews.
