Jim Baldridge

1983 B.A. Political Science

Jim Baldridge has been covering news in the Dayton area for approximately 40 years and is Newscenter 7's co-anchor. He has traveled the world to cover stories important to the Dayton area, as well as many presidential nominating conventions and campaign activities. Jim has an abiding interest in aviation and since 1975 he has anchored the annual Dayton Air Show broadcasts. He has received numerous awards for his work in broadcast journalism and has been honored by the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Aviation and Space Writers Executives, the National Association of Television Program Executives, and many local organizations.
