Liberal Arts Advising
PART 1: THE ADMISSION PROCESS, 1.1 - 1.2
1.1 Application
Students applying for admission to Wright State turn in
a completed application form to Admissions. An application is not complete
until Admissions has received official transcripts reflecting all
of the student’s college-level credit. Applications of transfer
students are sometimes held up for several weeks until all transcripts
have been received.
1.2 Evaluation of Credit
Ordinarily, Admissions Records is responsible for determining
what credit earned at other colleges and universities can be accepted
by Wright State. When this step is completed, a student’s folder
is sent to University College (for new students or transfer students not
meeting college admission requirements) or to the appropriate academic
college (for students meeting college admission requirements). The folders
of students entering the College of Liberal Arts are sent first to the
L.A. Advising Office.
