About the Office of Academic Affairs
The College of Liberal Arts Office of Academic Affairs provides advising and advising-related services. Students in the College are primarily advised by faculty members in their departments, but the Assistant Dean and College Advisors work together with the departments to ensure each student has a seamless transition from University College to CoLA.
Students newly admitted to CoLA from another College within Wright State or transferring from another institution may wish to consult us for help on transitioning into CoLA. Faculty members, too, should be in touch for advising issues as needed.
Faculty and students can contact us as needed, and we will refer you to the most appropriate party to handle your unique query. Typically, we do not offer walk-in advising, but most questions can be handled with a short appointment or even via phone, email, or IM. If you're in need of an appointment, we can usually accommodate you within a few business days, but it's also always best to plan ahead.
Please see our news, student resources, and faculty resources for more information.
