The advisory board will meet two times annually with the Dean (fall and spring). At these meetings, members will learn more about highlighted aspects of the college. Likewise, board members’ input will be solicited on a variety of topics to help provide a much-needed external perspective on decisions impacting the college.
Each board member contributes $500/year for three years to the Dean’s Fund, a discretionary fund that will allow the Dean to allocate the available funds strategically to support college priorities. Such priorities may include leadership scholarships, study abroad scholarships, teaching awards, and faculty research/development. Board members will be able to volunteer to serve on subcommittees to select recipients of these awards.
