This course will be an introduction to feminist aesthetics inthe form of a survey of contemporary readings. The intention is to considerthe wide range of themes now developing in this area of aesthetics ratherthan to provide an in-depth examination of a single theme.
This course will be team-taught by Luisa Lang-Owen, artist and professorof Art Education, and Charles Taylor, professor of Philosophy and Director,Master of Humanities Program.
