Minor Requirements

Students who have an international interest, but who are majoring in other fields, may benefit from a minor in International Studies. The minor is especially helpful to students in modern languages, political science, journalism, education, and anyone pursuing a career where a basic understanding of world affairs strengthen other program interests. Completion of the approved minor is certified on students' official transcript upon graduation.

The minor may be fulfilled by completing the following requirements:

Core Requirements
Three of the following: ART213 or 214, CSE250, HST200, PLS222, GEO325, CST232, WMS200
12 hrs.
Foundation Requiremnts
300/400 level courses from at least three disciplines
24 hrs.
Related Requirements
Completion of a foreign language through the 202-level
20 hrs.
Total:
36-56 hrs.
