Majors in International Studies may earn departmental honors by completing the
following requirements:
1. Compiling a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on all major course work and 3.0 in
overall course work.
2. Attaining senior standing.
3. Completing a departmental honors project in any discipline in which she/he has had
significant course work with a grade of A or B.
By completing these requirements majors will be recognized as a "Departmental Honors Scholar" upon graduation. Interested students should see Dr. December Green, the director of the International Studies program, for more information.
National Honor Society
Majors in International Studies may become eligible for membership in Phi Beta Delta,
the honors society for international scholars. Interested students should see
