GREATER MIAMI VALLEY JOINT MASTERS IN SOCIAL WORK PROGRAM
THE NEW MSW PROGRAM AT WRIGHT STATE UNIVERSITY AND MIAMI UNIVERSITY IS OFFICIAL IN OHIO!
On March 23, 2012, the Ohio Board of Regents (OBR) Advisory Committee on Graduate Study (RACGS) unanimously approved the Greater Miami Valley MSW Collaborative at Miami University and Wright State University. Congratulations to all who have worked so hard on this program and to all of you who have been anticipating the start of this program.
We also received a favorable report from the site visitor from the Council on Social Work Education. We submitted our response letter to her report on March 30, 2012. The final decision from CSWE will come after its Commission meeting in October, 2012.
You must complete an application with the graduate school . The next start date for the MASW will be Summer 2013 for eligible BSW graduates and Fall 2013 for all other applicants.
