Information to Potential Workshop Presenters

The Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board has given Wright State's Social Work Department via the College of Liberal Arts approval to offer workshops for continuing education requirements for social work licensees. As such, we offer workshops that are full-day and half-day workshops for either six (6) contact hours for full-day workshops or three (3) hours for half-day workshops. Currently, the costs are set at $80 for each full-day workshop. If you would like to register for one of these workshops, please contact the Office of Event Services, at (937) 775-5512. Workshops are usually held on WSU's Main Campus.

Although we seek to set our workshops for a 12-month cycle, professionals are often moved to share their own work or presentation experiences. For that reason, we encourage you to download our Call for Workshop Proposals as well as our most recent "Topics" list of what has been offered in recent years. We encourage you to prepare and submit a proposal or to pass on this information to your colleagues and friends for their consideration.
