The Model United Nations program at Wright State is built around a four credit-hour seminar in Political Science, PLS 486/686. The seminar emphasizes diplomacy, teamwork, problem-solving, public speaking, technical writing, and researching. Students have been quite successful in applying these skills at regional and international simulations. For over 30 years, Wright State delegates have earned top awards at the National Model United Nations Conference – a winning streak unmatched by any other university. Preparation is the foundation for the program’s success. After weeks of research and practical application, Wright State delegates truly live their policy.
