2011 National French Honor Society Induction Ceremony
The Wright State Theta Epsilon chapter of Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society held its induction ceremony on Friday, February 18, 2011. Fourteen new members of Pi Delta Phi attended the ceremony, along with their loved ones and WSU French professors. Prior to taking the honor society oath (“Je promets de faire tout ce qui sera en mon pouvoir pour répandre la culture française et francophone." [I promise to do all in my power to promote French and Francophone culture]), students shared favorite French language songs and poems, with short English language explanations of their choices. French professors Pascale Abadie, Karine Daddah, Marie Hetzler and Kirsten Halling (Chapter Moderator) provided a French style dinner with home made appetizers, bread, and desserts.
