NOTE: NOT majors in French, German or Spanish - just the Modern Languages major will be affected by the following:

Beginning with the Fall of 2012, the Modern Languages major will no longer be offered. The Department will continue to offer majors in French, German, and Spanish, minors in French, German, Spanish, Chinese Studies, and Russian Studies, and a Certificate in Linguistics. Modern Languages majors who will not be graduating by Spring 2012 are advised to switch to those majors and minors. In case of doubt, please contact your advisor.

Modern Languages Major - B.A.

Students opting to major in Modern Languages are required to declaire either French, German or Spanish as their concentration Language.
