Summer 2007 - Spain

Students will study in Madrid and Salamanca for three weeks with an emphasis on business, investigating the culture of Spain and comparing and contrasting an American and Spanish business. Students will be required to keep daily journals with daily themes and personal observations of Spanish life, while learning basic business concepts and how Spain conducts business on the national and international level. Specific information will be provided when available.

Summer 2005 - Spain

Students studied in Spain for three weeks in conjunction with the University of Salamanca with concentration on Spain as a global business partner by studying some of it's unique offerings and traditional products. Typical Spanish businesses were observed representing Spain's culture which included a business producing jamón ibérico, a newspaper and a business school. Students had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with key personnel and travel to several historical and cultural sights.

December 2005 - Chile

This program focused upon the unique and modern culture of Chile and its strong position on global trade relations, especially with the United States.The trip commenced in Concepción, where students worked with Wright State University's partner institution, Universidad de Concepción, and heard lectures from the Business and Modern Languages faculty. Typical businesses that represent Chile's culture were studied which included a winery, a forestry business, and a coal mine: "El Chiflón del diablo."
