About the History Department at Wright State

Our department, featuring sixteen full-time faculty positions, is an integral part of the university's College of Liberal Arts. We have seven Europeanists, with a particular strength in Early Modern Germany and Denmark; six Americanists, representing a wide range of specialty fields; an Asianist, Latin Americanist, and Public Historian. In addition to undergraduate studies, we award the M.A. and have a strong tradition in Public History (including archival and museum management). Come in and look around! And if you have any questions about our program feel free to contact us at 937-775-3110 or at the address below.
