The Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)

About TEFL

The TEFL Certificate is a 15 semester-hour summer university program that can be taken at the undergraduate or graduate level. It is designed specifically for those who wish to teach in a foreign-language environment, that is, in a non-English-speaking country. The TEFL Certificate is offered summer term and can be completed in one semester. In order to receive the certficate, a student must earn a 3.0 average for the courses in the program.
