Course Requirements for M.A. in Composition & Rhetoric

CORE COURSES (6 hours)

ENG 7020 -- Methods and Materials of Research in Writing and Language
ENG 7120 -- Rhetoric
7000-LEVEL COURSES (18 hours)
Six additional 700-level courses, at least four of which must be seminars in writing and/or language (ENG7410-7430; prerequisite for all seminars is ENG 7020 or 7010)
ELECTIVES (9 hours)
Nine additional graduate credit hours (6000 or 7000 level) in English or an approved related field. Please see "Elective Options" for more information.
