Give yourself a head start

Introduction to College Writing introduces you to the activities and expectations of the required General Education writing courses at WSU.

Get ready for your other classes, too

Studies show that students who attend the workshop not only earn better grades in ENG 101 than students who don't; they get better OVERALL grades.

Get to know WSU computer labs

  • Workshop class will be held in computer classrooms, so you'll need to bring your Campus Account Username and Password. Need help?
  • You will use the same software used in ENG 1100.
  • If you attend all four workshops sessions and do the work, you'll receive a "graduation" present: a Wright State T-shirt.

Move in early

For an additional charge, you may move into campus housing early to attend. For questions concerning early move-in, please contact the Residence Services Office.

Registration details

Your university account will be charged $40.00 by the Bursar's Office following the workshop.

The deadline to apply for this workshop is August 6, 2011.
