Wright State University ArtsGala Scholarship
FOR ENTERING STUDENTS
Scholarships are based on both financial need and talent. They will be awarded based on a review of portfolios as well as an assessment of the student's high school transcripts, references and financial need.Student must have completed the application process to Wright State University including an application for financial aid.
The student must reside in one of the following counties: Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Fayette, Greene, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby, Van Wert, and Warren.
Scholarships will be for the first two years at Wright State University. Continuing students will be eligible for the Art Department's talent scholarships.
Student must deliver a portfolio of a maximum of 20 works, no more than 10 in any one medium, along with the names and phone numbers of a reference who can speak about their artistic accomplishments and a high school transcript to the Art Department office, room A226 in the Creative Arts Center at Wright State.
Students can drop off their portfolio March 4 -6, 2013. The work will be reviewed the week following the drop-off. Students will receive notice of the results by: March 15, 2013. Portfolios should be picked up the week following notification.
The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The portfolio must be clearly labeled with the student's name, address and phone number.
