Danielle Rante

Assistant Professor of Art and Art History

Danielle Rante works primarily with paper to create large installations as well as delicate drawings and prints.  She joined Wright State University in 2009 as an Assistant Professor in printmaking and drawing, formerly holding positions at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, IN and Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, OH.  Since receiving her MFA in 2006 from the University of Iowa, she has been actively exhibiting her work at national and international venues, including the International Print Center New York, China Sanbao Printmaking Exhibition, Hartnett Gallery at the University of Rochester, NY and the Hudson D. Walker Gallery in Provincetown, MA. She has been awarded an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, OAC domestic residency at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Mass. and a Philadelphia Art Hotel residency.
