Sculpture

The WSU sculpture studios are housed in an autonomous building within a few minutes walk from the Creative Arts Center. The facilities include a spatial general space, a dust-free installation space, wood and metal shops with a full range of fabrication machinery including electrical welding and cutting tools and compressed air stations for pneumatic tools, a clay studio with two electric kilns, a slab roller, a clay mixer and an extruder, and a digital media section equipped with computers and projection tools. In addition, outdoor areas adjacent to the studios are available for stone carving and displaying sculptures. The studios are supervised by a sculpture technician during regular week hours and allow a 24/7 access to students enrolled in sculpture courses.
