Wright State University's

Academy of Fine Arts

The Department of Art and Art History at Wright State University is pleased to announce the formation of The Academy of Fine Art. This free, four-week Saturday morning program is open to all qualified junior and senior level high school art students and will run concurrently with Wright State's regularly scheduled Fall, Winter and Spring quarters. This college level course will focus on drawing from observation with emphasis on the development of composition. This is an excellent opportunity for serious and motivated high school art students to develop their portfolios, receive college level instruction and feedback, and meet other students with a shared interest in the fine arts. Classes begin in the fall and space is limited.

All interested students should send a letter of recommendation from their art teacher and a copy of their transcript verifying junior/senior status to:
