Erica Hess, BFA 2006
Erika Hess graduated in 2006 with her BFA from Wright State University and received her MFA from Boston University in 2009. After graduation she moved to Brooklyn, NY where she was impacted by the geometry of the city and lack of a horizon line. These spatial ideas serve as the foundation for her work. Her paintings explore the physicality of paint and the evolution of a piece through experimentation in the studio.
Hess’s work has been shown nationally. She currently works for Stamps School of Art & Design at University of Michigan.

Clara Coleman, BFA 2008
Clara Coleman received her MFA from The University of New Hampshire in May of 2012. She now lives in Honolulu, Hawaii where she volunteers at the Honolulu Museum of Art and teaches figure painting at the Honolulu Museum of Art School. She is currently included in the "Drawing From Perception" group show at WSU, and has a solo show of her recent paintings since moving to Hawaii inside of the art school.

Aaryn N. Combs, BFA 2012
Since graduating from WSU, Ms. Combs has exhibited in HWD: A Regional Juried Sculptural Competition and the Dayton Matrix: A Regional Print Exhibition. Aaryn has been included within the Dayton Art Institute's 2013 Yeck College Artist Fellowship and is currently preparing for the Yeck Exhibition, scheduled for May 2013. Aaryn is in progress of researching graduate schools for MFA programs.

Nick Satinover, BFA 2007
Nick Satinover graduated from Wright State University in 2007 and immediately entered the graduate studio art program at Illinois State University, Normal, IL. Since completing his MFA in 2010 Nick has been an artist-in-residence at the Frans Masereel Print Centrum in Kasterlee, Belgium, Kala Artist Institute in Berkeley, CA and the Dayton Printmakers Cooperative. He is currently living in Minneapolis where he is a term Assistant Professor of Printmaking at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Recent solo exhibitions include The Invisible Hand Gallery in Lawrence, KS and Southeastern Iowa Community College. Nick's first book of prose poems, titled Nineteen, Thirteen will be published by Wrenwood Press in February of 2013.

Matthew D Fitz, BA 1996
Matthew D Fritz is a business owner and tradesman currently living and working in Centerville, OH. I own an electronics assembly business (MDFritz Technologies, Inc.) as well as a custom woodworking business (MDFritz Carpentry & Fine Woodwork), where I build custom furniture, cabinetry, and architectural trim. My current artwork comprises of oil paintings, photography and woodcut prints. I most recently have exhibited work in Dayton Matrix: A regional Print Exhibition 2012.

Matthew Burgy, BFA 2005, M.Ed 2011
Matthew Burgy is currently an artist professionally exhibiting and selling his jewelry, kinetic sculpture, and painting in several galleries throughout the state of Ohio. Since 2005, his work has been featured in over 40 juried exhibitions, recently including Rosewood Gallery’s “HWD” sculpture exhibit, and Wright State’s Stein Gallery’s “Dayton Matrix: A Regional Print Exhibition”. His sculpture and painting has also been featured in museums such as the Ohio Craft Museum in Columbus as well as the Dayton Art Institute, where you will also be able to find his jewelry currently on display in their gift shop. In addition to his professional artistic endeavors, Matthew has also been an art educator for several years, teaching children and adult art classes in locations such as the Dayton Art Institute, Rosewood Arts Center in Kettering, and in local schools through the K12 Gallery in Dayton. Just recently, Matthew became an adjunct professor at the University of Dayton, where he has been working for the art department teaching visual art to education majors.

Shannon Grecula, BFA 2009
Shannon Grecula is currently working as Gallery Director for the Fifth Street Gallery within Stivers School for the Arts in Dayton, Ohio. She recently participated in the printmaking exhibition “The Dayton Matrix” at the Robert and Elaine Stein Galleries at Wright State University and is currently working on several woodcut prints, which investigate characteristics of both human nature and earthly nature.

Kathy A. Moore, BFA 2003
Kathy A. Moore received a 2004 Yeck College Artist Fellowship from the Dayton Art Institute while taking Post-Baccalaureate Independent Studies at WSU. She has exhibited extensively in the Midwest and East coast with her work selected into twenty-five national juried art competitions. Ten of the jurors for the competitions were members of the prestigious National Academy in NYC. Recent group exhibitions were held at First Street Gallery, Bowery Gallery, Prince Street Gallery, Blue Mountain Gallery and The Painting Center all located in NYC. Her work has received many awards including the Robert De Niro Sr. Award at the Butler Institute of American Art National in Ohio by juror Larry Salander and Juror’s Award in Wright State University’s national competition by juror Stanley Lewis. Her work has been selected for solo exhibitions in Ohio at The Art Academy of Cincinnati, The Rosewood Gallery, Wittenberg University, and Sinclair Community College. In 2012 she had a solo show at Anderson University in Indiana and a three person show at The Springfield Museum of Art in Ohio. She teaches painting and drawing classes at Edison Community College in Piqua. She also teaches art classes at Sinclair Community College in Dayton for the College for Lifelong Learning Program.

Andrew Dailey, BFA 2005
Andrew Dailey currently teaches drawing, painting and 2D design at Miami University and works as Youth Art Program Coordinator at the Rosewood Arts Centre. His recent exhibitions and awards include: Contemporary Realism Biennial, 2012, Ft. Wayne Museum of Art, Ft. Wayne IN, National Juried Exhibition, International Painting Annual, Manifest Gallery and Creative Research Center, Cincinnati, OH, Juried Exhibition in Print, Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, 2011, Jeanne Bowman Ellenstein Purchase Award, 2009, Evansville Museum of Art History and Science, and the proud father of son Liam and daughter Phoenix.
