Application
Process
Are
you ready to take the next step and become a criminal justice major?
If you’re
a current Wright State University student, skip to Step Three.
Step
One. If you’re a transfer student (either with
an associate’s degree or transferring any credit from another
university or college) or you are a first time freshman, you must first
be admitted to Wright State University. Go to Undergraduate Admissions,
either online admissions at
or visit them in the Student Union. Keep in mind, it may take up to
three weeks to process your application once every item is complete.
If you are returning
to Wright State University, but have not attended for four quarters
or longer, you must re-apply as a returning student. Do not apply online,
or you will be charged the application fee again.
Step
Two. After you receive your acceptance letter from the
Office of Admissions, you may initially be a student under University
College. Visit them online at
uc or in person at180 University Hall. The University College advisors
will help you with any placement testing that may be required, plus
help you register for classes. If you’re a transfer student who
has already met the minimum requirements, you will be directly admitted
into the College of Liberal Arts.
Step
Three. Once you’ve met the minimum requirements
to be admitted to the Criminal Justice program, your file will automatically
be sent to the College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Office. For the current minimum requirements, visit advising. Once the Liberal Arts advisors evaluate your transfer
credit, they will forward your file to the Criminal Justice
program. You will receive a welcome letter from the program
at that time which lists your criminal justice advisor; however, feel
free to call us at any time with questions!
The
Criminal Justice Program is located in 270 Millett
