Students and Supporters Connect at Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Attracting and developing talented, young business professionals is at the core of the Raj Soin College of Business’s mission. Business leaders and scholarship recipients had an opportunity to share their goals and aspirations this fall at the College’s annual scholarship luncheon.
Jamie Schiferl, fourth year student, recognized the College’s supporters. “Without your generosity, I could not have taken on the leadership positions and service projects that have helped me grow personally and professionally. Your financial support is also a key factor in helping me achieves the academic excellence that I’ve strived for in all my classes – and my scholarship has definitely given me an edge in my chosen career.” Schiferl, marketing major, completed an internship and now works part-time at GE Money in their emerging markets group.
Over sixty scholarship donors, student recipients and faculty members attended the Fall 2008 Scholarship Awards Luncheon held the first Wednesday in November. You can help attract, develop and retain outstanding young business leaders in our region by contributing to an existing scholarship fund or starting a fund that reflects your professional goals and personal values.
