The Miami Valley International Trade Association (MVITA) is a
volunteer organization that focuses on promoting international trade,
both exporting and importing in the Miami Valley. It supports regional
Miami Valley businesses in their pursuits to buy and sell products and
services internationally.
MVITA conducts internationally oriented and informative programs
throughout the year to educate the business community in the processes
of selling in and working with foreign companies and in foreign
countries. Much of the support is derived from its membership and a
broad spectrum of experts in various international areas such as
accounting, banking, freight forwarding, law, marketing, sales and
regulations.
Association activities are supported through membership dues and
program fees. MVITA functions through a Managing Director with
oversight by a 17 member elected board of trustees and appointed
officers. It is incorporated as an Ohio non-profit corporation with all
income used solely in support of Association activities.
