Director Southwest Central Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Program
(SWCO PTAC) – Dayton, OH
The Edison Materials Technology Center (EMTEC) has a full time opportunity for Director – Southwest Central Procurement Technical Assistance Program (SWCO PTAC). The Director position is responsible for providing assistance to client companies with timely and comprehensive information related to the government procurement process. Position responsibilities include supervising PTAC counselors and staff including their training and development, interface to state and federal PTAC offices including proposal and budget preparation, developing and achieving program objectives, tracking key program metrics with an objective of increasing program metrics, identifying target client opportunities in government markets, providing client training and GSA support and training as necessary, and assisting in the development of PTAC marketing / communication materials as needed to enhance the PTAC program. Requirements for the position include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, business, or arts; extensive knowledge and eight to ten years management / supervisory experience including project management and managing remote staff and locations; procurement experience; strong organizational, people, and communication skills; and articulate in oral and written presentations.

Counselor Southwest Central Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Program
(SWCO PTAC) – Dayton, OH
The Edison Materials Technology Center (EMTEC) has a full time opportunity for Counselor, Procurement Technical Assistance Program (SWCO PTAC) for the Dayton region. This position is responsible for client counseling and training in government regulations and procedures with respect to local, state, and federal government procurement processes. Requirements for the position include an undergraduate degree in business, science, or arts; two years experience in client oriented business; excellent verbal and communication skills; and strong organizational, people, and presentation skills.
