Set yourself apart with a degree in international business..

Any business that has a website has the potential to expand their worldwide profits and market share. Yet many businesses lack the time or expertise to take advantage of the expanding global economy.

The Raj Soin College of Business is committed to developing business leaders with a global perspective. To prepare students and develop the talent businesses need, the College offers

  • Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in International Business and a minor in International Trade Management.

  • A minor in International Business for students who are pursuing other majors at Wright State.

  • And a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in international business.

Our curriculum meets the critical need for business professionals who can assume leadership roles as the regional and national economy continues to grow from international trade. Our students gain the skills employers want including:

  • applied foreign language expertise in a business context

  • cultural knowledge and understanding

  • skills in international business operations including market assessment, importing/exporting and international finance and accounting

  • a required international trade internship with hands-on experience further distinguishes WSU graduates from their peers.

The College also partners with business and government to assist area companies in expanding their international presence while developing future international business professionals. Programs include:

  • Student interns - IB majors work with businesses to improve existing international business operations or evaluate new markets abroad

  • To Aim and Realize Global Expansion Together -TARGET roundtables. Co-sponsored by The Ohio State University Center for International Business Education and Research, The U.S. Department of Commerce Dayton/Cinncinnati and the Miami Valley International Trade Association

Details on these programs are available from the links on this page or by contacting the Monica Snow, Director 937-775-2151 monica.snow@wright.edu
