About the COF Program and Scholarships

About the Choose Ohio First Scholarship—Wright State University:

Choose Ohio First (COF) scholarships are available to selected undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in pursuing a major in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Medicine (STEMM). The COF scholarships are competitive scholarships, varying in amounts from $1,500 to $5,200 annually.

Hands-on Experience

STEMM scholars are expected to maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA and to participate in designated "learning-by-doing" experiences (internships and co-ops, service learning/civic engagement, undergraduate research, etc.). It is the goal of the WSU Choose Ohio First program to provide experiences linked to the Ohio Means Internships and Co-ops (OMIC).
