Traffic, other tips for McCain rally Friday
Thousands of people are expected to descend on the Wright State University Ervin J. Nutter Center for U.S. Senator John McCain's "Road to the Convention" Rally on Friday, August 29.

Traffic is expected to be heavy in the area of I-675/N. Fairfield Road and Colonel Glenn Highway from 7:00 a.m. (during rush hour) until approximately 2:00 p.m. (08/28/2008)

Wright State University’s Ervin J. Nutter Center will be the site of a "Road to the Convention" rally Friday, August 29, when U.S. Senator John McCain visits Dayton during his campaign swing through Ohio. (08/21/2008)

Rarely seen Warhol photographs on display at Wright State in September
From September 9 through October 19, 2008, rarely seen Polaroids and photographs taken by Andy Warhol will be on display at the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries at Wright State University.

The exhibition "I AM A CAMERA: Photography of Andy Warhol" will offer visitors a chance to be a voyeur into Warhol's artistic process, his life and the glittering New York scene of bohemian street people, intellectuals, Hollywood celebrities and wealthy aristocrats in which Warhol was immersed while making his multifaceted art. Girls explore engineering at Wright State summer camp
Hands-on activities in biomedical, material, computer and industrial engineering are not the fare of your typical summer camp. The 30 rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade female students in Wright State University's second annual Girls Ready to Explore Engineering Now (GREEN) Program are not your average campers. (07/22/2008)

Wright State University welcomes nationally recognized "emerging leader" to administration
Darrin Sorrells, Ph.D., recently named assistant dean for the Student Academic Success Center in Wright State University’s University College, has been recognized as an emerging leader by Phi Delta Kappa International, a leading association of education professionals.
