Wright State filmmakers feel honored despite falling short of Academy Award
Wright State University’s award-winning documentary filmmakers Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar walked the red carpet with members of the cast and crew on Sunday, March 7, hoping to bring an Oscar statue back to Dayton. While the film they produced and directed, The Last Truck: Closing of a GM Plant, fell short of an Oscar on Sunday night, Reichert and Bognar felt honored by the nomination and the attention it brought their story and Wright State. Dayton World Affairs Council sets forum on Afghanistan, Pakistan for March 9
What is going on today in Pakistan and Afghanistan from a military and political perspective? Why should Americans be concerned over these developments? What does the future hold?

These questions are among the issues that will be discussed at an international forum on Afghanistan and Pakistan on Tuesday, March 9, at Sinclair Community College, Ponitz Building 12.
