Defensive Driving
Description
The Defensive Driving course is a comprehensive driver improvement program offering practical knowledge and techniques to avoid crashes, and to choose safe, responsible and lawful driving behaviors.
What you will learn:
o You will learn to recognize the need for and benefits of defensive driving
o You will learn the benefits and elements of making safe choices
o You will become familiar with the skills and techniques that allow you to avoid collisions and violations
Who should attend:
This program is designed for any employee or individual who drives a WSU owned, leased, or loaned vehicle. The program would also benefit anyone who would like to refresh their driving skills and individuals who are required by the court to attend a defensive driving course.
After completing the course, you will receive a National Safety Council DDC Certificate of Completion which, depending on your state, may make you eligible for point reduction or ticket dismissal."
